Cloud-based Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) refers to the use of cloud computing technologies to manage a product’s entire lifecycle—from initial concept and design through development, manufacturing, service, and end-of-life. Unlike traditional on-premise PLM systems that require extensive hardware, long deployment cycles, and ongoing maintenance, cloud-based PLM platforms are hosted on remote servers and accessed through the internet, offering greater flexibility and scalability.
